It has been a couple of weeks since Allison and Tyler's wedding.  It has been a great chance to do nothing, but yet we have been so busy.

Emily attended Young Women's camp this last week.  Russ went up with her and joined her on the fourth year girl's backpack trip.  Emily and Russ had a great time. Emily is headed to EFY next week in Las Vegas, it is going to be hot.

We are all enjoying the summer.  In the heat of Bakersfield we sure love our swimming pool.  We cannot believe how fast summer is going.

We love having Russ's parents nearby serving a mission at South Valley Farms in Wasco.  They are about 30 minutes away and we get to see them each week.

Allison Judd and Tyler Whitezell were sealed for time and all eternity in the Salt Lake Temple on Friday June June 26, 2009.  The day was wonderful for all who were able to participate.

Haley and Hannah's Dance Recital

Haley and Hannah dance with American Dancers Workshop.  On June 19 and 20 they performed a beautiful recital.  They did three different dances; ballet, jazz, and dance.

Red Horse Mountain Ranch

Family vacations do not get much better than this.  We spent a week at Red Horse Mountain Ranch just outside Coeur d'Alene, Idaho.  Shawna's brother Brian joined us for the week of riding, shooting, rock climbing, mountain biking, archery, fishing, plinking, the challenge course and eating.  All of this was nestled in the beauty of the great American Rocky Mountains.

As you can see we had a great time at Red Horse Mountain Ranch.  We loved every minute we were there.  The best part was being together as a family, sharing the beauty of the earth and enjoying the activities together.
