We have had such a great summer! It is hard to see it end. Usually by this time of year I am ready for the children to go back to school, but this year is different. I would love to continue our summer fun....but alas, all good things must come to an end! We must jump back into a routine: getting up very early for family scripture study, making lunches, practicing instruments, making sure all homework is complete and everything needed for the day is in the backpack, then out the door for a wonderful day at school. While the children are at school, mom will be busy cleaning up the kitchen from the mess left behind at breakfast, doing oodles of loads of laundry, making bread, muffins, cookies or some other delicious treat, working out, cleaning up other parts of the house, running errands, doing stuff for her calling, volunteering at the hospital, grocery shopping, and planning healthy dinners for the family. Then when the children come home from school she will greet them, feed them a snack, help them with homework, take them to their various activities, and then fix them a delicious dinner. Whew, I think it's time for bed!
Ben is still at the ABLE program. He is on a Special Olympics bowling team. He is really looking forward to this upcoming season of Condor's Hockey and BYU football!
Emily is a SENIOR!!!! She will be graduating in December and then she will go to beauty school. She is on the varsity tennis team. She leaves the house while it is still dark outside to attend early morning seminary.
Haley now attends Junior High! She is thrilled that mom lets her wear mascara! She is first chair in flute. She loves to dance, and enjoys all the hours she spends at the dance studio.
