Santa Monica beach trip *April 2012*

It was a great day for catching sand crabs.......

and jumping in holes.......

and playing in the water!

There was a crazy fog bank that we could see way off in the distance when we got to the beach, and slowly it came on shore and completely enveloped us for about 1/2 hour.  We could not see anything around us. Then it rolled past us and we had sun again.

Easter 2012

We had such a nice Easter with Allison and Tyler here, and Grandpa and Grandma Judd.  Our Easter egg hunt was full of surprises...including a golden egg with $5.  Ben found that egg!

Happy 13th Birthday Haley!

Haley invited a few friends to join her for a night on the town. First they went to dinner at Johnny Rockets.  There was a lot of laughing, joking and people watching.  Then the girls went to Color Me Mine to paint ceramics.  Each girl picked out a special piece and they all worked really hard to do their best painting.

Then we came back to the house for Sweet Surrender cupcakes.

The next day we had a family birthday dinner.

Haley is growing up so much.  She now wears the same shoe size as mom.  She is such a blessing to our family.  Haley loves to babysit....besides having fun playing with the children, Haley likes to earn money!!! Her favorite thing to buy with her money is tic tacs, or is it lip gloss, no wait a minute it must be makeup!

Royal Daddy/Daughter Ball *March 2012*

Hannah and dad got all dressed up for a very special night out together.  The activity day girls from church were surprised by their leaders and invited to this ball with their fathers.  They enjoyed a nice dinner, had waltzing lessons and played games.

Battle of the Books

 It was a good year at Battle of the Books!  Hannah was placed on a team with some great readers.  I stayed with her group the whole day and watched each of their competitions.  There were some very close matches.  Hannah's team received an honorable mention award at the closing ceremonies which was very exciting. we had to go celebrate at Tutti Frutti afterwards!

Pinewood Derby *March 2012*

The children had fun making their cars with dad.....unfortunately we did not have any winning racers at the Ward Pinewood Derby.

There's always next year!!
