Haley is touching up her lipstick before her performance. The girls loved getting to put on lots of makeup.Haley and Hannah have been dancing with American Dancer's Workshop for three years. The first year they took one class a week, the second year they each took two classes a week, and this year they took six classes a week, which included ballet, tap and jazz. The fun part about taking so many classes is they get to perform more dances in the recital. That also means lots of costume changes!!!
Hannah was a penguin in the winter scene of Mary Poppins.
Haley was a snowflake in the winter scene of Mary Poppins.
This is their class for the tap number "Shake your tail feathers"
This is for their tap dance, "Stray cat strut"
Here they are in their costume for a jazz number, "One girl revolution"
Haley and Hannah both loved their jazz number, "I love the 80"s". Each girl got to put together their own costume.
Overall, this has been a fabulous year of dance. The girls have learned so much, and they have improved a lot. They are great performers and have perfected their stage smiles!!
