End of school stuff

Emily's final swim meet of the year for the league championship. Here the team is doing a cheer to get ready.
Emily waiting to compete in a medley relay. She set a new personal best record of 28 seconds for the 50 free. Way to go!!!
Emily had a great season, but it was a lot of hard work. She even practiced in the rain and got hit with hail!
Guess who?.........
It's Hannah with her "Ring of Fire" mask that she made.

The sixth grade had a Greek Festival to complete their study of Greek mythology. Each student chose a God or Goddess to make a mask of. Haley chose Minerva, who was the Goddess of wisdom, the arts, and commerce.
The sixth grade also has an annual "Egg Drop Contest". The students can use whatever they want to protect their egg from being dropped off the roof. Haley wanted to use a stuffed animal. Russ found this huge bear at Goodwill.
Each student was given their egg on the morning of the drop. So here Haley is placing her egg inside the bear.
Here it goes..........
And the egg survived!!!!!!

Haley is our first child to attend the same school from Kindergarten through sixth grade. She has many fond memories from Ronald Reagan Elementary School. Each student can earn points for good grades, and participation in various activities to go towards pins and plaques when they finish sixth grade. Haley worked so hard to earn a plaque. She participated in choir, band, the track meet, the volleyball team, Battle of the Books, tutor for younger students, was on the honor role and made principals list. She was so excited to earn this plaque. WAY TO GO HALEY! Here she is with her sixth grade teacher, Mrs. Mensing.
Hannah had a wonderful year in fourth grade. She got straight A's all year, participated in the track meet, the geography bee, Battle of the Books, and was a class representative. Her teacher was Mrs. Sagers. WAY TO GO HANNAH!
