Memorial Day hike in Kernville.

Grandpa and Grandma Judd are back in Wasco serving for another year as Service Missionaries at the Church farm.
We decided to get together and go for a hike.
Along the way, we came to a large stream . Someone had built a cool bridge, which came in very handy for getting across.
A few years ago there had been a wildfire, and while hiking we came to a burned area. Hannah pretended like the hanging bark was a pinata. Look at the determination on her face!

Ben and mom cooling off by the stream. A fun place to throw rocks and play! Haley and Hannah navigating the rocks and trying to stay dry.
Grandpa and Hannah finishing up the hike.
After the hike we went to a park next to the Kern river for a picnic. The water was high and fast. We watched kayakers and rafters. It was a beautiful day.
